Sapporo Bier Garten (Beer Garden)

The Sapporo Beer Garden is the only place where you can taste all of Hokkaido's greatest foods at one location.

You can taste the iconic Sapporo beer and one of their special food Genghis Khan. Here you can see how their beer processed and you can see all the equipment to make their beer. Also the history of their famous beer.

Let's call it museum beer factory, and here what does it look like inside.

This Bier Garten is a very big area, other than the museum factory they have souvenir store which sells beer, souvenirs and snacks. And a restaurant which serve their local specialties food Genghis Khan, barbecued mutton or lamb with some veggies. Must try food in Sapporo.

Soup Curry

First day in Sapporo went to the hotel by public transportation from JR station where the bus from Lake Shikotsu stop, and from the nearest train station which is around 10 - 15 minutes we walked, yes walk... with the road fully covered by the snow, it's kinda difficult to carry our luggages. After checking in then we realized we were super duper hungryyy.. and we all blank don't know what to eat. Then we checked TripAdvisor we found that there is a soup curry restaurant nearby our hotel, immediately we went to that place hahahaha... hungry to the max..

The restaurant name is Yellow Soup Curry 5 minute walk from Tobu hotel Sapporo. It's in the ground floor of a building, a bit difficult to find since their name box very small.

The soup curry is very different from the normal Japanese curry. It's soupy and yellow color not brownish like the normal one. It's more to the Indian curry.

After reading the menu we decided to order one pork and one chicken. One with white rice and i order yellow rice with fried Camembert cheese.

The meat both very soft and tender, the soup very thick and tasty. What i like the most is the yellow rice with that cheese, delicious! They fried the cheese covered with bread crumb. Yummm...

Definitely must try dish in Sapporo.
